What to pack for a holiday in Norway?

Holidays in Norway offer varied weather, but as they say: there is no bad weather, only bad clothes. It is an art to pack smart when you go on a trip. And, a lighter luggage is better for you to carry, and better for the environment when you fly with a little less weight. Pack what you need, and not everything that is "nice to have".

Here are some tips:

• Make a list. Good preparations make packing easy.

• Pack necessary and important items, such as medicines, in your hand luggage.

• Pack for all seasons. Even summer evenings can be cold in Norway.

• Roll the clothes. Utilizes space better and clothes become less curly.

• Pack liquid in plastic, then you avoid a suitcase full of shampoo.

• Mosquitoes & gnats are frequent summer guests. Remember mosquito spray!

• Mark the luggage with name and number.

• Repack! After the suitcase is packed, it is always a good idea to do a new assessment, there are probably several things you do not really need

• Find out what can be packed in hand luggage and what must be checked in. Pack dangerous items in checked baggage. Many people plan trips out in nature, which include storm kitchens, knives, and other equipment that in many cases cannot be taken on board the plane.
