Activities in Hammerfest

There are endless opportunities in Hammerfest. Visit intriguing little shops, admire the charming architecture and go on adventures in the arctic wilderness.

If you like activities outdoors, a hike from downtown to Tyven can be very invigorating. It takes about three hours - on a dirt road during summer or a ski track during winter. You won’t regret taking the time to do this!

Kjøttvikbukta with its bright white sandy beaches is also worth a visit if the weather is nice. You could even camp here for the night, and sit back and enjoy the midnight sun.
