If you want a full day of fun and games, go to the Tivoli Gardens. This amusement park is right near the Central Station and is filled with roller coasters and other fun and exhilarating rides. But even if you prefer to stay on solid ground, you will be comfortable here. The lovely gardens and architecture of the park are just waiting for you to come and explore. During the Christmas season, the park is transformed to a Christmas wonderland.

Food and music are dear to the Copenhagener’s heart. Huge international musicians and bands are glad to come here. The food is worldly and sophisticated. For a light meal, visit Torvehallerne. For brunch, cycle to Nørrebro. For a Michelinean pizza, pay a visit to Bæst. Or how about a classic shrimp sandwich by the docks?

You could also join one of the popular boat rides and see the city from a distance. Take it in, feel it, and breathe in the ‘dejlig’, delightful Danish atmosphere.
