Refund in the event of sickness or death

Sickness

Unexpected illness may occur. In the event of sickness, the general refund rules apply. However Widerøe also offer a Cancellation protection.

If you've purchased Cancellation protection, you'll get a full ticket refund if you're unable to travel because you or a close family member falls ill.

Cancellation Protection

Cancellation protection can be added to your booking. The service must be purchased along with the ticket.

Death

If there is a death in the immediate family, general refund rules also apply in regards to changes or cancellation. We recommend that you contact your insurance company to be reimbursed for costs related to cancellation or changes to your airline tickets and/or other expences.
