Children and infants

Travelling with infants (0-2 years)
If traveling on an adult?s lap, infants under 2 years of age fly free of charge (infant fare) on domestic flights within Norway. On international flights, infants receive a 90% fare reduction. You also have the option of booking a seat for your infant (children fare), where you may place a car seat that conforms to official regulations.  Please remember to let us know that you will be traveling with an infant when you book your trip.

You may travel with two infants when the applicable child fare is paid for one of the infants. However, you have to book this ticket through SAS Sales. If you are flying with two infants and whenever the fasten seat belt sign is on:
- one infant shall sit on your lap with the infant belt secured, and
- the other infant shall be seated in a car seat that conforms to official regulations (you will need to bring this yourself)

Travelling with children (2-11 years)
Generally speaking, a passenger is considered a child between 2 and 11 years of age (i.e. has reached his/her 2nd but not 12th birthday). On Widerĝes STOL flights the age limit is 2-15 years.
