Irrespective of your destination, you need to identify yourself when checking in luggage and boarding. Parents or guardian travelling with children will have to confirm the identity of minors without ID. For minors traveling alone, the parent or guardian will need to identify themselves.
When taking an international flight always make sure to carry the necessary documentation. Such documentation includes passport, visa, Electronic Travel Authority (Australia), exit permit, vaccination certificates, etc.

Immigration controls no longer apply between the Schengen countries. However, you should still take your passport or national ID card with you as a means of identification. A national ID card shows the nationality of the owner.
