Stavanger
Stavanger is a modern and lively city in Western Norway with a continental feel. The city has been known as the Petroleum Capital of Norway for years, and in 2008 it is (along with Liverpool) the European Capital of Culture. Stavanger has a wide range of museums, like the Norwegian Petroleum Museum, the Museum of Archaeology in Stavanger and Rogaland Museum of Fine Arts, in addition to a concert hall, theater and a university. Stavanger is close to perfect for action filled vacations. You can fish, golf, bike, surf, play tennis, ski or whatever else you might desire. We also recommend a helicopter sightseeing. Perhaps this flight will end up at Stavanger Airport Sola - the same location that Widerøe flies to and from?
