Sogndal

The small village Sogndal, famous for its production of fruit juice, is placed in breathtaking surroundings deep inside the lovely Sognefjord. The village is primarily famous for its beautiful nature, Sogndal IL soccer team and Lerum, a major nationwide supplier of jams and juices. Sogndal also prides itself with Kaupanger, one of Norway`s most impressive stave churches. You should also visit Sogn Folkemuseum, the Norwegian Glacier Museum and the Norwegian Book Town. If you feel frisky and want to rock around the clock, we recommend a visit to Meieriet, often referred to as the best concert venue on the west coast.
