Sandnessjøen

The Helgeland coast is often referred to as the most beautiful archipelago in the world, and Sandnessjøen is in the middle of this area - a small town with almost 6000 inhabitants. The rough and diverse nature offers exciting activities like elk safari, kayaking, scuba diving and mountain hiking. In addition you can also see classical sights like Alstahaug church and the Petter Dass-museum. Sandnessjøen is a natural interchange for the outer regions of Helgeland with its long quay and great harbor. Widerøe is however the only airline to offer flights to and from the town`s airport, Stokka.
