Kristiansand
Why should you fly to Kristiansand
The only reason you really need to fly to Kristiansand, is that the south of Norway is a wonderful place in the summertime. To make it even nicer, there is an abundance of flowers in Norway's fifth largest city. Kristiansand center is in fact filled by several tens of thousands of summer flowers that make the friendly southern town even friendlier. If you want an extra pleasant and charming experience, you can fly to Kristiansand and go for a walk Posebyen, Kristiansand's old town. This is the largest contiguous collection of low wooden houses in northern Europe.
Fly to Kristiansand to experience what many associate with the city during the summer: lovely idyll on the small beaches, or in the lovely southern archipelago. What about all the children's favorite, Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park which is the largest zoo in Norway?
Other airports in the area
Fly to Kristiansand and you will land in heart of Southern Norway. But if you want to go further west or east, Widerøe will also take you to Stavanger and Sandefjord.
