Helgeland
Helgeland claims to be the most beautiful coastline in the world, and with very good reason. It has beautiful and vast coastal scenery, untouched by mass tourism, yet Helgeland offers lots of activities. Explore caves, paddle a canoe, hike in the mountains or go horseback riding through forests, mountains and deep valleys. Perhaps you prefer to enjoy the coastline by bicycle? Helgeland has some of the most spectacular mountain formations in Norway, like mountain Torghatten and The Seven Sisters mountain range. You can find rock carvings, visit museums, churches and rural museums. We also recommend city tours in Mosjøen or Brønnøysund. If you catch a flight with Widerøe to Sandnessjøen, Mo i Rana or Brønnøysund, you may experience all this and more.
