Haugesund
Why you should fly to Haugesund
Fly to Haugesund to experience a vibrant city and an important trading center on the west coast of Norway. Every year a series of festivals and events is held here, with the Film Festival and Sildajazzen as the largest and most important. North of downtown, one can look at the national monument Harald Haugen, who was raised in 1872 in memory of Harald Fairhair?s unification of Norway in 872 AD.
The city also has a variety of cafes, discos and restaurants, as well as a number of interesting museums and galleries. Fly to Haugesund and get insight into the culture from Haugesund Picture Gallery, Karmsund Folk Museum, Environment Museum Dokken and Haugaland museums.
Starting from 30th October 2011 we will have direct flights from Haugesund to Copenhagen 6 times a week.
Other airports in the area
Fly to Haugesund and you will experience true western urban culture. But Widerøe can also take you to other towns in western Norway such as Stavanger and Bergen.
