Hasvik

Hasvik is located on Sørøya, the so called Green Island in Finnmark. This is the perfect place for extreme fish tales - most of them actually being true! Hasvik happens to be the land of the big fish, and many eager deepsea fishing enthusiasts are dreaming of catching the giant cod. Hasvik county also has fantastic conditions for hunting and fishing, and the magnificent sandy beach, Sandvika, is the county´s Millenium place. To gain a deeper insight into local history, stop by the Kvithell cave. Towards the end of the 2nd World War 35 people lived in this tiny place for 99 days.
