Edinburgh
Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and the country`s second largest city. Some call it The Athens of the North. The south of the city is dominated by the venerable Edinburgh Castle, sitting on top of a volcanic rock. The Edinburgh Festival is arranged every August - a co-operation between different festivals within theater, music, dance, film and entertainment. The historical streets of Edinburgh are atmospheric and perfect for pleasant strolls. For a good scare, join one of the guided ghost tours in these streets. Afterwards you can settle your nerves in one of the city`s many pubs. Edinburgh has numerous golf courses where you can enjoy Scotland`s national sport. To get here, book a flight with Widerøe´s summer flight from Bergen to Edinburgh Airport.
