Copenhagen
Copenhagen is a wonderfully joyous city; the citizens have a unique ability to put their visitors in a cheerful mood. The Danish capital has an exciting history dating more than 1000 years back in time. Copenhagen is dominated by monumental buildings and challenging architecture. Strøget shopping street is perfect for that; shopping, whereas the canal street Nyhavn is excellent if you want to kick back and relax. Not many cities are better for bicycling than Copenhagen, and there are several places to borrow or rent bikes. You could bicycle to the alternative Freetown Christiania. Copenhagen also has an opera, the Tivoli Gardens, a zoo and the great soccer team FC København. Widerøe has direct flights to Copenhagen Airport Kastrup from Trondheim and Sandefjord.
