Bornholm

Bicycling on Bornholm is an activity for people of all ages. Bornholm, as most of Denmark, is very flat, and it's easy to bicycle regardsless of condition. When you arrive at the airport in Rønne you can take a cab into town and rent a bike. You can even rent a bike with room for your luggage and one to carry the babies. If you are not ready to take your luggage on your bike you can get it transported for a few coins to your hotel.

Whilst you travel around the island on your bike, make time for stops in the small villages. There are several attractions and museums on the way; The automobile museum, Middle Age Center and the house of author Martin Andersen Nexøs.

Bornholm can also boast three great golf-courses for those who want to hit a few golf balls. You should also try some of the islands many fishsmokerys. And last but not least, you have to make a stop at the "classic snowball" fabric in Snogebæk. You get to see how they make the sweets and make sure you buy a few completely fresh snowballs rolled in chocolate with a topping of your choice while you're at it. mmmmmmmm....
